I am going to bed at 3 in the afternoon after staying up to write a philosophy paper. Never before have I felt so utterly inept when it came to composing an essay, least of all an analytical one. Word to the wise: metaphysics is total bullshit, waste not your time studying it.
Skipped enough class this week to cause some serious loss of bearings. Hopefully I will have interesting things to catch up in.
Mensch is a great yiddish word. It embodies everything desirable in an individual. I don't like nietzsche's philosophy anymore then I like him using the term "ubrmensch" to refer to some sort over super/overman. But it makes me wonder if perhaps mench doesn't stem from germanic, and in so, doesn't share a root with nietzsche's mensch. Either way I still got beef.
It's amazing how lost in our own little hectic worlds we can become. Sometimes it takes something as innocent a a stack of MAD magazines to bring one back to reality. mmm pillow *drools*
