Today in sociology class we watched Sick: The life and death of Bob Flanagan, Super-masochist. uh.. never figured I'd watch a video of some dude nailing his dick to a board in school. i look up smut like that in my own time LOL..jk..
but anyways today was good until my mom called me this afternoon and said shes been in the hospital since yesterday.. her blood pressures been going to over 200 randomly. she doesn't smoke, she rarely drinks, she excersizes regularly, she eats healthy, she weighs like 105lbs.. so there isn't any obvious reasons for it to be happening. well tomorrow they are doing a heart catheter on her to test her heart for stuff I guess. it kinda scares me how people of seemingly normal health can suddenly develop problems like that. also i hate that I'm so far away when stuff is going on with my family down south.
im sitting here drinking that bob marley relaxation drink called mellow mood. i always feel weird about buying stuff like this that the key marketing point is using the name and image of a respected person that has died. i dont just mean stuff like their music, i mean nonsensical items.. kinda like this drink.. i guess his family has to approve everything that uses his name / image or whatever.. still i dont feel quite right about it lol.. like when i was 16 or so i didnt buy a nirvana poster cause i noticed in the corner kurt cobains name was trademarked.. the guy is dead.. who bought the rights to his name? it bothered me.. maybe i think too much about that stuff. lol. gonna add one of my favorite bob marley songs, which is currently my ringtone..
