Finally making some progress:
Saturday: ran for the first time in just about 5 weeks. I was doing my normal weekend workout (30min stationary bike followed by a 2 mile walk) and decided to see how running the last mile would be...not to bad
Sunday: slept in my bed for the first time since the breakage.... I had been sleeping on the couch (keeps me from flipping over and gives me the coffee table to hook my legs under to bring myself to a sitting position)
Monday: Ran for the first time out doors also this will be the first recordable workout since the breakage...I ran 2 miles. Mile 1 went by in 7:17 due to some kids running in front of me I ran a little too fast. My lungs were on fire at the end of mile 1. Mile 2 went by at an 7:56 pace much more in line with my out-of-shapeness. I stopped after 2 miles b/c my shoulder was screaming at me...plus I have not asked my doc if it is ok to run yet...
