For the past couple weeks, I've been wanting a little furry companion like nobody's business. The house I live in currently has three cats and they all swarm me as soon as I leave my bedroom. I'm ok with them, but they get all over the counter while I'm cooking and that's just.... yeck. I really love cats. I actually prefer them over dogs, but for some reason a dog sounds great. No little yapper dogs... I really can't stand those. A smart, well mannered one would be perfect.
Anyway, I finished up the Octopus hat/scarf. I really like how it turned out.
I look really dopey in beanies so mannequin head will have to do.
It's so versatile! It's like six scarves in one!
The back.
Notice the stitching from the suckers doesn't show through. I'm quite proud of that bit .
I even made a tag for it.
Crocheting through the felt was fun.
So for Valentine's Day Gish got me an online crafty class with Red Velvet Art. I've been feeling so bad about it cause I've been so busy making things for customers, I haven't had time for the class. After the hat was done, the whale pins were assembled, and the octopus pins were started, I decided to do a couple projects before moving on to the next commissioned hat. Whallah! Tipis!
I live on a large piece of property complete with garden (this picture was taken in front of it) and it's very own...
TIPI! For size comparrison of course... *snicker snicker*.
I liked the little one more than the big one at first, but now they've both grown on me.
Mind you, it's like 82 degrees out today, so the lady bug was happy for a cool perch from inside the house.
And no, honey, it's not a hat.
So I'm gonna go back to watching Dr. Who. Ta ta.
