Last night, I slumbered in Detroit. Mum has a business trip, and I tagged along for the fuck of it. Our hotel was GORGEOUS! Tis called The Inn at St. John's and it's a converted monastery. I didn't really get a change to take pictures inside, but here's some from the gardens...
Just so the trip wasn't completely wasted, we went to the Detroit Zoo; disappointing, really. So stretched out and not that many animals. A couple of em did crack me up, though, and I got to see an aardvark and red panda.

Upon arrival back home, I find a strange box on my doorstep. It has that quirky little amazon.com arrow, but I didn't order anything.
