Well I had something really long winded and witty to say about global warming, oil company profits and suppressed policy and technology, but somehow the diatribe was erased when the page decided to time out on me. Funny how that only ever happens when I'm right about to add a comment. Oh well, I can remember most of it and I was just going to hijack it from here to my journal anyways (I need to update it). Don't crawl out from under that rock just yet (the coast isn't clear yet).

Yeah, it doesn't really matter where you are in southern California, it's HOT!!! We had weather in the teens over the last weekend (confirmed at 114) plus some humidity.

Hope you beat the heat, and can find a rock to crawl under somewhere. When I looked at the temperature field for the day last Saturday (when we peaked at 114) the entire south west corner of the United States was in the white to light pink with a few spots of red and orange (you know the color spectrum from the purple to white - ROY G. BIV in reverse). Take care my brother, I'll be sending evil waves towards W & Co. if they even begin to think about Lebanon or another front to the war... or 3 fronts... or Shit, the whole damn wold!!! Try not to stress so much and try and think of something that will make you happy...

When I saw the girl in the American Maid costume, I ran across the room just to get a picture. The Tick totally rocks.

That's a good enough excuse... this time. Yeah, that totally sucks. That's what happens whenever I go on an extended vacation. No one touches my stuff and I come back to a mound of work. Nice to see the military works like the rest of the world where work is put off on the next guy.
