Well I am so excited I can hardly wait..........
Next week I'm going to Colorado and I don't care how! I'm going to Colorado I'm going to Colorado, I"M GOING TO COLORADO!
I'm going to steal John Ellways couch, I'm going to Colorado, I'm going to see where Hunter S. Thompson lived! I'm going to Colorado,I'm going to climb Pikes Peak, I'm going to Colorado, to taste the rockies, I'm going to Colorado, I'm going to Denver, I'm going to Boulder, I'm going to Golden and I DON'T CARE HOW! 
Actually I do, but once I get there I am going to pick up the classic 1955 Willys Jeep CJ5 and after visiting with some friends I'm bringing the beastie home! I was going to drive the quickest route home, but that just seemed too boring... and it just was not my style (that and the 55 is geared to climb like a billey goat so the freeway and most highways would be pretty lame to try and drive. So I though to myself what could I do along the way to make the trip more interesting, where could I stop off to enjoy the trip a little more, sure there is Vegas, but I've done Vegas before. I wanted this to be something special, an adventure that I would remember for the rest of my life, and driving from Golden Colorado to China Lake BFE California on the freeway wasn't it. So I thought to myself, I have a classic automobile, and I'm going to motor west.... Hmmmm....... Then it hit me

Well OK I won't be hitting all of route 66 but I will pick it up in New Mexico! I am going to load up the Nikon, fuel up the Willys and motor west. Yes.... Go west young man!
And that I shall.... Happy trails to me!
Well that and an ipod full of good tunes.... I am thinking that all of my 50's punk cover songs are going to be put to good use this trip. I will post photos of what I have seen along the way, and I am sure that there will be plenty of good ones to be seen!

And I can only hope that this will not be me!
But maybe I can find some cool stuff for the new house along the way! Wish me luck! Oh by the way I have room for one more, any takers?
