HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY TA ME!

Ok I just ranted and raved for about an hour on the last entry I tried to make but some how it did not get updated, just as well all it was was a bunch of crap true self loathing.

OK tomorrow I have to work early so I am being good tonight however... heh heh heh I do not work on Friday so

BRING IT ON MOTHER FUCKERS!

OK basicly I ranted about how eBay sucks sometimes regardless of what the buyer and seller agree on eBay can still manage to scew a deal up for one or the other party. I agreed with a seller to pay the buy it now price if he would not mind waiting a few weeks for me to pick up this great classic 1955 CJ5. Its an awsome little beastie and the price is really very fair. We reached an agreement even though the item still had a few days and was about $1300 away from the buy it now price I agreed to pay the full amount. Ah but wait he had a low reserve and it was met while we were talking on the phone. SO when I hit the buy it now button after getting off the phone no dice now I have to wait for the rest of the auction to play out and hope that my bid stands. I will say that even if it never gets to the buy it now price I am still going to pay the full amount since it was the agreement we had made on the phone, how ever if it goes higher then the buy it now, and higher then I can pay I lose, I will be disappointed but the guy selling it would be getting closer to what the little beastie is worth. The buy it now price was about $2000 too low. My friend that lives out where its being sold went out and drove it and did a full mechanical inspection and aside from the brakes needing to be bled all the way he said to buy or he would. Now its not perfect but it has all the right stuff done to it the right way, and leaves room for me to finish it and it still be the way I wanted to build one up. Well good luck to me I hope that I get my birthday present to myself. I WON ON EBAY!!! ITS MINE ALL MINE

Now looking at this cute little guy reminds me that I am in the Navy, and that would make me a sailor



And I firmly believe that all sailors need a Jeep.....



Now all I would be missing is my Olive Oyle..



And maybe a little R & R
