OK I have decided on getting the Cannon 10D, fuck it who cares if I am going to be poor for a while. I think that I may go pick it up this weekend and take pictures of the typhoon that is hitting Japan right now.
Speaking of typhoon, the rain here is pissing me off, I have had to work late every day this week and only gotten to sleep at home one night this week (not including tonight) and it was some of the best weather I could have asked for riding the Cannonfail around. I found out why Tioga pedals suck a couple of days ago too, they do not release! If you are a serious cyclist and are concidering a pair of these DON"T DO IT!!!!!! I had to stop suddenly when a car decided to park itself right after it passed me, I slowed down thinking that they were going to turn at the intersection, when I should have stopped. By the time I realized that they were not turning I had to slam on the breaks to avoid a collision while TRYING to unclip from the pedals while doing a track-stand with a 13 kg backpack on. I ate shit, twisted the ankle that did manage to come unclipped (the first time I have ever twisted an ankle bad enough to need ice in 33 years!) and tore open my knee, again. Lucky for me it was more embarassing then damaging. I am still trying to figure out what went wrong with the pedals, I have been using clipless pedals for years and never had this problem, I had flashbacks of toe-clips on rough mountain trails.
So I am thinking about all of the stuff that has been going on and realizing that I have a 3 day weekend and no duty too! My boss wants me to go bowling with his family on Sunday, and kick back a few beers. OK this sounds soooo Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble, but its more like taking the skinheads bowling. I can see it now two drunken punks in their 30's smashing pins and trying to make new friends with the little Japanese people on the next lane over. Hmmmm could be fun even though I loath bowling. Besides I like his kids and his wife is pretty cool too. I guess if the weather is going to be shitty I may as well go bowling and try and make a few new Japanese friends. I guess it might be a good time to try out the new camera I pan on getting with some serious "action" photography as the ball rolls into the gutter.
OK the ipod started playing the Cramps so I have to go see if I can figure out what's inside a girl!
OK The
thing wont work but you know what I mean..... wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more say no more.
Wait there is more the Japanese Hurricane Defence System has been activated and there are PA's making anouncements about something. I think that I need to go wake up the room mates so we can close the storm shields! Looks like this may be a kick ass storm!!!!!! >

and her mother was a hostess, so i don't think she'll mind too much.
Damn. it's like fucking movie, seriously. She was all over me, and i was just sitting there thinking "Cool."
enjoy the typhoon, looks like we dodged that bullet this time.
So I take it your from Washington, things here are pretty nice I posted a couple pics in my journal that I took recently, hope it doesn't make you any more home sick than you already are.
It strange reading your journal, when I worked at Boeing I worked with alot of retired Navy and Air Force guys, geez the stories they had.
I dude with four kidneys, that sounds like some Klingon anatomy, that would be one hell of an adrenalin rush.
Take easy.
