I've come to realize that with the class I've been teaching that there is a lot of prep work that goes into getting things ready for the next day, I'm also still expected to carry out my normal duties at the clinic so that means that I've been putting in a lot of extra time all over the place. Back when I got promoted my chief told me that with added rank comes added responsablity, at first I thought that he was pulling my leg. I thought that the supply department was going to leave me with tons of time to work on other projects and perhapse even take a couple courses this fall. WRONG!!! It turns out that there were a ton of other things that had been put off, or held onto knowing that I would be the one coming into this position, so I've got tons of stuff that had to be done two weeks after I find out about them. Oh well, I guess that's my lousy excuse for not updating my journal lately, or for making comments to everyone. As it is I've had to go in on 3 of my scheduled off days to work on stuff around the clinic that I haven't been able to get to while I'm teaching the class. There is that and the fact that I've noticed that I spend less and less time logged into SG, I don't even remeber the last time I browsed through the sets, it seems like too much a pain in the ass with the new format, and that may be why I'm not on here much anymore. Still haven't gotten to the point where I feel like I should cancel my membership but it's getting there, I've thought about it a few times. I guess when it comes time for my annual renewal I'll make that choice.
