life aint so shity.
i got in a good mood somehow yesterday evening, due in no small part to walking past salvation army (after buisness hours, there's always heaps of stuff left there by the busy bourgeoisies) and finding the cadillac escalade of baby strollers, a like-new aluminum frame graco "quatro tour. " (a $140 value)
so that cheered me up a bit. scores like that outside of salvation army are pure luck - especially since they'll only be sitting there for about 15 minutes before someone will grab it. i missed a twin jogging stroller once by about thirty seconds, and i couldn't talk the guy who grabbed it into giving it over, since i had a baby and all, but he said, no he had some use for it.
plus, salvation army is way overpriced, since they remodelled.
in other news, we've turned down an all-expense paide type trip to meet the cast of west wing.
yeah, that kinda sucks. but this is no time to bring chaos into our house. so.
