mad skillz, whats the deal.
get home at 845, lost from downtown, the tenderloin, i don't even know where i went...
the tenderloin causes me anxiety, claustrophobia - it's like europe with more hostility. semi spiral stairs and wire elevators, crevasse-like roads. arroyo washouts. unpredictable speed + speedheads.
drugs in tiny bags. try to hang out in a place where, from the bathroom, there is a tiny window looking out onto a tiny square shaft, windows in every direction - but you can't see the sky or the ground- - very bladerunner/sprawl.
on the way back, i almost made it in a sensible path, till i ran into the mint, ran the wrong way down a street - a beautifull obelisk, the sf mint.
then i got lost. got home, parked, did h/w, drafting-designing, blunt damn stoned, in the quiet with the nuclear dyad sleeping.
had to trade cars real quick, the hazards of carshare, and convieniently so - i'd parked dead in front of a thru-the-building lot (whoops).. i remembered suddenly thinking how slick i was after weasling through a car-jam, doing tiny spiral loops into parking spaces (or so i thought)...
designing is a dance- and it's tricky - there's lots of minutiae - plus the struggle between designing cleanly and designing well - since as you design, you think and as you think you redesign.
goddamnit, sorta.
