Since I'm new here, what a more appropriate time to share some fun facts about myself. Are they completely useless? You decide.
1. I've been dying my hair various shades of pink on and off for 8 years.
2. Growing up I was really obsessed with Greek mythology. I was always into the big ridiculous monsters and I thought the myth about Persephone going with Hades to the Underworld was super interesting because of all of the different perspectives it's been interpreted from.
3. I used to be a certified scuba diver when I was younger. My parents are both certified, but mine expired when I turned 16. I love being in the water.
4. I'm incredibly fascinated by psychology. I'm really into true crime, but more because I'm interested in the psychology behind the acts of the criminals, the formation of cults, etc
5. I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But I've been pursuing photography seriously for 9 years. I went to undergrad for photography and have loved taking self portraits and pictures of people from the start. I love color, kitsch, camp, and vintage inspiration for my work. I'm a huge photo nerd.
6. My immediate family is super small. I don't have any siblings and neither do either of my parents. So I'm the only child of two only children and I don't have any aunts or uncles.
7. I ALWAYS carry a water bottle with me. Hydration is so important, y'all.
8. I collect novelty mugs, car shaped vintage glass avon cologne bottles, and Heidi Kenney/Yummy World plush. The latter of which I've been collecting since I was 12.
9. I took dance classes (mostly ballet) for 10 years when I was younger and then did colorguard for 6 years in high school and college. I even got an opportunity to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
10. I started modeling for a friend of mine who was also pursuing photography in high school. She and I have recently started working together again and we've been shooting almost weekly now! Here's a photo from one of our recent shoots together :)
