So i go to the gas station and pump in 3 gallons for a total of $9.00 even. Now how much would you expect the price per gallon to be? No... not $3.00. It was $2.99 and 9/10ths.
Now the fact that the oil pushers stole .3 cents from me isn't the sole thing that pisses me off. The problem is that they advertise $2.99 and 9/10ths per gallon when in reality it costs me $3.00 per gallon.
That one cent means nothing to me personally.... i'm cash fucked either way... but to the gas pimps that penny has more value than just the millions of 1/10ths a day the collect. It's also way to cheat and post a price one cent lower than the gas station across the street, but actually be charging the consumer exactly the same price.
