I bought a wetsuit tonight! Yah. Now I am almost completely outfitted to go see the little sammies (i.e. fishies) swimming in that big bad ocean. Sammies are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet.

Stiles is right. The frozen spit on the tank is starting to pile up like upside-down icicles. 18 days since the temp here went above freezing. And every time the snow gets thin, we get hit again. So, if the M/C museum at Laguna Seca is in any way real, I'm interested. I can set up the collections & exhibitions side of a museum from scratch, and make it right. Doing it somewhere warm with motorcycles would be a dream come true. Email me if you want details to pass on. I'm serious.

This is so that we don't wind up with a bazillion journals lurking around for long-ago rides, and so we can all look in one place to see what's happening. I personally think that it will become a kind of cool history of SGMC if we all post our events and after-event comments in the journal. And "Ride This Weekend" is the perfect title. If I ever write my memoirs, I think I'll use that title

I really hate to be rushed to buy someone a present. I feel like if I want to buy someone a present I should be able to do it when I find the thing and then give it to them right then. I can't find a present for my mom. Any suggestions?
