today is my 2yr mark for not eating fast food and also my 6yr mark for not smoking any more... smile

I just stopped smoking after eleven years. I'm past the three week mark...sofarsogood. You like Ginger Snaps -- have you seen the sequel? Also, the prequel comes out (straight to U.S. video) in just a coupla' weeks.

the wetsuit thing is looking better I keep upping my distance and the suit feels like it is getting less elastic in the legs... smile

it is not that sharp pain that you go "oh shit I need pain pills"...it is that low level dull ache that never really goes away, but never gets so bad that I feel justified in taking pain pills for...so I suffer on with the dull pain...it almost feels like my teeth itch...

the hidden cost of braces:

anything other than braces that they do to your teeth (like pull 4 of 'em) you pay for...I thought it might be covered under that huge amount of money you pay for the braces, but I was wrong...400 bucks wrong so far... frown

although not normally described as a benefit a mild delusional state is a definite after effect of endurance athletics...for quite a few hours after my 90mile bike ride today I was walking around with my head in a fog...

Random observation:

If you can't maintain your speed without hitting your breaks every 2-5sec then you should not be driving...
