Our Caribbean band played this morning in Asheville (Arden, really) at the grand opening of the World Market. There was a nice fresh breeze blowing through the Swannanoa Valley that was most pleasant. The World Market seems like a really cool place to look for strange stuff. Please nobody tell me they use Indonesian slave labor or something - I would be bummed. Something tells me if they did there would have been a stir in Asheville over it. It's pretty progressive as Southern towns go.

So far I've very much enjoyed exploring this site. The only problem is that life on dial up is beginning to seriously suck! It's been almost three weeks. I want my Broadband and I want it now! Or go wireless. WAP's continue to come down in price and the networks get larger. Whoa, today I connected at 31.2 Kbps... Photos take days to down/upload. Don't even think about MP3's. Help!
