Thirty days exactly now until we board our flight for England and Ireland. K is busily booking lodging, cars for hire and "trip protector" if the event we had to cancel.
School starts next Monday but I am anxious to get over there, look at the new facility and grab 2-3 teachers so I can map out at least the first part of the school year. I'd like to do at least 2 full units at the Middle school and maybe one at the elementary school between Oct and Dec.
Meanwhile I continue to plan my class in American Protest Music at the University. I've decided to go ahead and get a second hand IPod - 4GB - rather than drag the laptop around with speakers, burn half a dozen CD's etc. and worry about downloading various applications.
I'm being very good today. Here I've written a journal entry before browsing a single SG or any of the boards and groups. Plus I got a good bit done this morning. I guess there are benefits to having dial up access and needing to keep the land line open.
