So instead of doing what i normally do when i log on to the net...have a cup, light up a ciggie, I hereby declare my

Ode To Quit Smoking:

I shall not smoke because -
1) I dont want to get lung cancer or emphysema and have to be wheeled around with an oxygen tank when im 60 and die a slow, miserable death.

2) I dont want to get throat or neck cancer and have my laryx removed and talk through a machine that makes me sound like a bullfrog or have to breathe through a hole in my neck.

3) I dont want to wake up every morning wheezing and coughing up nastiness and my throat all sore.

4) I want to be able to taste and smell the world without the subtle mask of ciggie smoke lingering in my plumbing

5) I dont want nasty green yellow teeth to make people gag when i smile

6) I dont want nasty green yelow breath or make my sweetie cringe when she kisses me cause it stinks like an ashtray

7) i dont want to wake up and smell the crapola and tar in my hair and on my pillow

8) I dont want to harden my arteries to a point that I get a massive corinary before Im 50 or 60.

9) I dont want to age with nasty yellow shrivelly skin on my face and little broken capillaries cause they are oxygen deprived

10) I want to climb stairs without feeling out of breath

11) I dont want my dick to become impotent cause all the booze and ciggies have slowly eaten away my sex drive.

12) i dont want my voice to be more likely to crack when i hit the high notes and be straining all the time.


Ok, did I forget anything? To all you smokers..yes i know its a pleasure to light up and feel that little nicotine rush and relief and be cool with a ciggie in your mouth like Keith Richards or humphrey bogart......but at this point im officially declaring it like..so..not worth it ( he says in his best 16 year old girl-type voice).
