Busy time of year so I've been absent please excuse me.
This is the kind of person I am: I buy gifts for the kid's father. He's got no one else that gives him gifts, except my mother who does give him a big gift bag full of underwear & socks every year, and I think that's sad. No one who celebrates Christmas should be without presents. SOoOO I buy him some stuff & I tell the kids that it's from them. It makes everyone happy & he's got something to open on Christmas morning.
Zorba gives his exwife's kid, with her new husband, a gift. I think that's cool too.
Another friend of mine celebrates nearly every holiday with his daughter, exwife & her boyfriend.
Why am I posting this? I guess because I am still stunned over my sister & brother's ambush.
I'll have to see my brother Christmas Eve but I won't have to see my sister which is a good thing.
I am trying to believe that they did this because they care about me & the girls but the more I ruminate over the situation the more I see them doing it for themselves.

My mom and dad are still more than sociable since their divorce. And my dad's gf always invites her ex husband over for the holidays cause he has no where to go.
I just call all of that being an adult and also a good person. Both of which you are!
