Hey everyone! I was down at my parents in MS for three weeks and could not get to a comp. Made me sad. But I wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It was awesome to see that when I came back.

Wow! I haven't been on in forever. So much has gone on. First off, I got a new kitty. She's 12 weeks old and black with a red sheen. She's very much the princess. I also got a new car! yay! hopefully that means less $ spent on repairs. I hope to have pics up of Scarlett (the new one) and Shiva together soon.

I'm attempting to write a paper on feminism and Islam and whether or not they can co exist. I'm really excited about writing this paper, but I have no idea where to start. Books upon books have seen my fingers run through their pages, and yet no knowledge seems to seep through.

This cold is dragging my ass down. Everything I eat tastes weird and I can't get comfy!

Anybody have any home-grown cures???
