It's good to be back, hello hello hello
alright well I do miss new orleans actually, but it was sooo hot down there...90 everyday and humid as hell.
but it was so wonderful there. I had soo much fun.
Bourbon street was alright...it's over rated really
I like Decatur st better...the bars: molly's: which introduced me to Abita beer (a lousiana local), the whirling dirvish, the abbey
the places to eat: croissant d'or, cafe du monde (coffee and beignets), acme oyster house, port of call, the sun cafe with the cutest waitress ever! she was goth and her name is Sadie...sigh (I was too shy to ask her for a picture, but we did talk a little) some place that i cannot remember the name to that had the best steak i've ever had...
we went to the zoo and the aquarium...the animals are soo cute: my fav are the big cats: white bengal tigers, cheetahs, leopards, jaguars...
we took a cruise on the mississippi...that river is so dirty
we went to the garden district...i saw anne rice's house and all of the other southern mansions
we went to a couple of cemeteries..one was on a tour where we saw the voodoo queen marie laveau's tomb...the tombs there are all above ground because the city is 6 feet below sea level and if they buried the bodies they would eventually float back into town.
we walked around a lot...i think i did more walking there in 9 days then I will the entire summer haha
i miss the king size bed...
aw and i miss the pool in the hotel too (on the 10th floor) too, where bobby and i would swim and wrap ourselves around each other...most of the time we were alone in the pool...it was so lovely.
i didn't want to leave
the rent down there is so cheap..this guy was telling us that he got this huge apt in the garden district for only about 450 a month!
but i dunno if i could live down there...there are too many things in ny that i would miss...ny itself for one...the hot dogs, the pizza, the bagels haha...i dunno i just like ny
oh and my set was not accepted
but I didn't think it would be sigh
but Missy did say that it was the set and not me

edit: oh my god! how could i forget to tell you all how i was a hero in new orleans?!
i saved a birdy's life!!
this birdy flew down from the top of the fountain and missed the edge and fell in the water and couldn't get out and was frantic
so i was like it's okay birdy..in my baby talk voice..and i scooped it up and it just sat there for a moment and dried off

hey weekends is better than never like what ive got going on now.. but hes should be here the first week in july.. and then i will NOT leave him alone
