According to my stats, my debut set is going up in only a week. My feels on that is mixed ... I have taken two sets so far, and while I was proud of the first at the time, I felt the second came out far better: I had been here a month since getting my hopeful account, had seen and been inspired by many sets since that time, and had gained a lot more confidence than I had felt during that first, unavoidably disconcerting experience of having over a hundred progressively nude photos taken by a complete stranger. Still, it is what it is (but please don't be too harsh). xx
In the meantime, here is a fairly random shot of me as a mad scientist, which is what I shall be wearing for my second burlesque solo. Unexpectedly, I will be doing this in the cabaret bar of Wales Millennium Centre (Cardiff's main theatre). I'm super excited but definitely nervous, partially on account of the high-end venue and my relative inexperience as a soloist, but mainly because I also work here. It ought to be very interesting working on the ticket desk again the week after having disrobed in front of loads of our customers ...
