Dec 24... Good day to start this.
I'm home for Christmas. If this is home. Home becomes such a strange notion after a while. I didn't grow up here, but my mom lives here... is that home? I love being back here, even the -40 cold doesn't dampen the spirits. The people here are so unpretentous. Not like Montreal.
My girl called tonight. She's in London. It is a long story for another time. We've been a couple thousand kilometres apart since September. It was good to hear from her, but I miss her madly. Especially with the holidays... this is most definately her home town, so it is weird not to have her here.
But... I got luggage for Xmas. London here I come.
