After the Pennywise show, I stopped by the State Theatre just to be social. It was a local band night and I had a chance to chat with Dave about the SG show. He told me he was trying to hook up the tour manager with a promoter who handles old school burlesque acts. Hmmm.

I was about to leave, when an old classmate, Elaine Unterberger, saw me. I actually saw her first and was trying to sneak away. Elaine is a great person, but she believes in me. She believes I should be a practicing anthropologist instead of a lapsed one. She believes I should go back and finish my PhD. She cornered me and gave me a pep talk.

Just the thought of entering SOC on the USF campus makes me depressed. Elaine is right that I'd probably be better off if I could get that set of letters behind my name. It just hurts my head to even think of dealing with those politically correct fascists again.

My head hurts now.
