I just did a seach for a local herbalism apprentice program. It's something I've been considering lately. The only web site that came up on google was $1295. I guess it's just seemed like something I could do, and be comfortable doing and still go to school at the same time, yes?

At the same time I feel like I would get sick of the annoying hippies. And do I look like I have $1300 to spare. Because I don't. I bought (and finished) 2 books today and I feel utterly wasteful. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams and How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by the amazing and wonderful Julia Alvarez.

Went to the doctor today . . . blood test results came back aaaaand I'm no more diseased than previously thought. No metal poisoning (lead and/or mercury), no babesiosis, blood sugar is okay, NO HERPES.

Yeah they thought I had herpes. BUT I DON'T.

Also got put on WAY more antibiotics. I'm now taking 1300 mg of antibiotics per day. Plus every other pill they want me to take. Let's see . . . including OTC supplements (vitamins and acidophilus to put good bacteria back in my system) I am taking 19 pills a day. The new antibiotics are horse pills too. But the cool thing is I can take one of the a.b twice a day if I double the dose at one time or the other. My life got so much easier.

Because I'm sure the details of my health and wellbeing are so interesting. Especially at 1:45 in the morning. Damn I still need to take a shower. I think I'll go do that now. Good night kids.
