So i finally decided on a name to change to from LIFAD...
one of the units I'm enrolled in is a design class. and as an exercise, we were to think of a company name, logo and design a business card for ourselves. i went with Pentacle Films. so i figured that would be a great name for myself on here.
when i get back to uni and get my business card from Adobe Illustrator, ill post my design on here.
so what else is new? not a lot, just been getting on with uni work. filming, script writing, essays, and trying to work out how the fuck to use Avid Media Composer and my new Apple MacBook Pro. lol. so hard considering I've been a Windows user since 1998. and Avid is hard considering in uni, we were taught Final Cut Pro 9 and the user interface is by far easier than Media Composer. hopefully ill understand how to use it sooner or later.
another note about uni, couple of weeks ago, we had one of Australia's top Director come and talk/meet us. His name is Bruce Beresford. his top success was 'Driving Miss Daisy'. has also directed Double Jeopard, and Maos Last Dance.
oh and this month, i started helping out and working camera man for a local wrestling company, AAW (All Action Wrestling). they do a show once a month. when it comes to camera, least i can still use the exp for my visual portfolio. for those in Perth, if your interested, next show is 9th June, 7.30pm start at Warnbro Aqua Jetty.
well thats it for now, gotta head off to go help a class mate film his silent film assignment.
