Haven't posted anything on here in a while, not sure if anyone is going to read it but here goes. Things have been going well as of late - all except the cash flow, but what else is new. We're getting ready to travel to NJ for Thanksgiving and then no more traveling until maybe February. Our daughter just turned four months old today and...

Not too much going on around here these days. Just getting things straight at the new house. This weekend we have to get the rest of the chica's stuff in here. That's going to be quite the chore, but it needs to be done this weekend bc she needs to be out of there by the end of the month. Hopefully in two or three...

So I just got the wireless hooked up in the new house. Things have been going pretty well lately, just hectic as usual. I'm still in the process of moving the last of my shit from the Commonwealth into my new house. Organizing my office is going to have to happen this weekend, because we're having a meeting here next week for the site.

It's...

yeah, i think original tattoos are so much better. so, even if it is dorky, no one else will have it.

i have some friends up in Indiana, but there's normally some sort of drama going on up there. who knows, maybe i'll be lucky and not have to deal with it.

hope everything goes smoothly with your move!

biggrin biggrin Thank you for the comment on my new set "lost on the road" kiss

Had a pretty good week this past week. The family was down and it's always great to see them. We're in the process of getting a house down here, so that's exciting. My great-grandmother passed away this week, but it was probably for the better. She was 93 - almost 94 - and had been hanging on for a while.

Things have been going well...

Hey, hope everyone had a good new years. 2007 had some pretty kick ass times and here's to an even better year in 2008.

I've had a shitty time sleeping the last week. It seems I can't get to bed until after 3am. I can find the bed, it's just the sleeping part that doesn't happen. I dunno what it is, but hopefully it'll get...

I'm taking classes at CPCC. Things seems to be going well so far, thanks for the well wishing!

I've had pretty bad insomnia before, it sucks. That, and i've had a regular sleeping schedule from like five in the morning to like two in the afternoon. It's a hard habit to break. Just force yourself to get up relatively early and by nighttime you'll be tired enough to go to sleep at a regular hour, hopefully.

Back in Charlotte now after the holidays. It was nice to be home, but it's nice to be back again. The drive yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We made it in under 9 hours and hit about an hour of traffic south of DC.

Redid my room a little bit today, nothing much, just enough to take up the majority...

yeah, i haven't cleaned my room in almost six year, it's a disaster haha. i'm too much of a control freak when it comes to my things and my space, so i won't let anyone help. i have in the past and i was too worried they were going through all my personal stuff and it was freaking me out.

i've been in charlotte for about seven years now. it's past time for a new town, a new scene in my opinion. my dad was in the military when i was growing up, so i'm used to moving every four or so years.

charlotte does have it's pluses. i've had more encounters with the cops here than i'd like to think about haha. most cmpd are strict, but there are a few cool ones. mint hill cops are the worst though, they are so bored out in the fucking boonies that they will bust anyone just to have someone to hassle.

public transportation sucks here. we finally got with the times and got the light rail, but it only runs downtown to south boulevard pretty much, it doesn't do a whole lot of good for me.

i was at that burlesque show. it was pretty bad ass. you should look into purgatory, it's in febuary i think.

Well the holidays are over and I'm about to head back home to NC. I'm not really looking forward to the 9-13 hour drive in the car, but it will definitely be nice to head home. I liked being back in Jersey, it was a nice break from the daily routine bullshit. It's been in the 40s and 50s here which is making me miss...

the holidays are always a time for things to get a little weird. it's like things are amplified - if things go well, it's amazing or if things go wrong it can be a disaster. even so, it's always good to get away from home for a few days, even if it only helps you realize how much you do like home.

my brother's ex girl loves to clean and organize, and now i'm hating that i missed the opportunity to have her help me haha.

yeah, long road trips can be rough. i used to live in cape cod, so the drive from there to here was always pretty crucial. it was like eighteen hours, if you were doing the speed limit haha.

my favorite thing about detroit was [[and i'm not even 21 so i couldn't enjoy it while i was there]] that there are twenty four/seven liquor stores haha, otherwise it was pretty lame and a bit frightening.

yeah, charlotte's huge in the banking scene so it's gets this rep as a bigger better city than it really is. i've never been to new jersey more than driving through, but i'd love to see it. i wanna tour all the 'big' cities here some day.

yeah, i've been here about seven, which is more than long enough to get bored haha. the clubs aren't always my thing, but it can be really fun if your with good fun friends. ever been to purgatory? it's like a goth fetish type of club that come around every couple of months. it's always fun.

yeah, there's a decent sized suicide girls type of scene here, but not driving puts a pretty serious hinder on getting into new groups of friends. and i mean, i understand, it's not something that makes me mad, but it's weird to have to pick up some new chick all the time just to see if she'll mesh with you and your friends.

who knows, i've got a year and a half until i don't have to pay an arm and a leg for insurance and can get my license back and maybe they'll be some cool kids at cpcc when i start there in a couple weeks. it's rough, but it's not the end of the world.

This weekend was pretty cool. Got to have dinner with my sister and went racing on Friday night. Worked Saturday night, but hang out with good people afterwards. Today I wrote an article, then went to work.

If you're in the Charlotte area you definitely have somethings to look forward to:

Tuesday December 18: Street Dogs at the Tremont
Wednesday December 19: IED and the...

yeah, my brother's old band used to play gigs at the milestone, it's a pretty cool place - lupie's too, quite delicious kuchen. i've actually got a friend visiting from out of town tomorrow night, but who knows, he's a little more into the punk scene than i am.

and i never thought of the train, that would be muuuuuch better than greyhound. anything is better than greyhound.

we broke up about a month ago, but we'd been together over a year and that's a whole different world from my normal three week dating stints, so it's a little weird to deal with.
maggiezee:
they were fairplay, they broke up about a year ago, but they made it to the semi-finals of the zippo hottour. it's like a national battle of the bands sponsored by the lighter dudes.

well, i've taken greyhound to wilmington from here - a 3 1/2 car trip - and it took almost ten hours. i'd rather spend more time on a train if it meant less sketchy people and bumps in the road and traffic and crappy gas station pit stops.

congrats on two years, it's an accomplishment no matter who you're with or how good you are together. there's something in this day and age that seems to hate happy couples that stay together. my parents are about on their 25th anniversary, and i have very few friends who even have parents that are still together much less not having troubles getting their own relationships to work.

i actually couldn't make the show tonight - my friend who goes to school out of state was having some health problems in his family and we just hung out at his parent's house to help where we could and keep spirits up. ninety years old with respiratory problems in winter pretty much spells out one ending, barring a miracle. it's sad, so close to christmas.

oh god. i talk to much, even when i'm not actually speaking haha.

Hey all. Hope all is well. Things are going pretty well now around here. They'd just be better if I wasn't poor as a mother fucker all the time. I hate getting paid from my two jobs and still not having enough money to put gas in my car or eat.

I've definitely been enjoying this 70 degree weather the past week here in NC....

Things have been going better lately. As time passes I think they'll progress. I have to drive 11 1/2 hours on Thursday to Homestead, FL to cover the race down there. It shouldn't be too bad bc I'll stop in Charleston, SC to visit with friends and take a break and I'm going to Florida which should be nice.

Hope anyone who reads this has...
