MY DAD THINKS I'M GAY!!!
here's how it happened: so he's yelling at me about some mess near the computer and i'm like "why are you yelling at me? i didn't do it!" and he's all "well jon did it, and he's your boyfriend!" [as if i'm responsible for the actions of others], so, being that jon and i are no longer going out, i shout back "he is NOT my boyfriend." "WHAT?!" he yells. my mom later tells me that she hears my dad mumbling under his breath, "i don't think she HAS a boyfriend. i think she has a GIRLfriend." hahahahahahahahaaa!!
NEWSFLASH!!! I WENT TO THE PROM WITH A GIRL. have you ever seen a worse case of denial in your life? i haven't. in addition, my mom recommended i start shaping up, because she doesn't want my dad thinking i'm a DYKE or anything. bwaha!
so. i just finished watching donnie darko [again] with my brother. there was a fabulous quote from it i wanted to put here, but i can't remember it...
so here's one from the simpsons instead:
"i'm like jesus, but not in a sacreligious way." [sung]

murkling: Did you watch the DVD or VHS? I haven't watched the DVD version of donnie darko yet, but i here it has some of the holes filled with extra scenes and such... i'm looking forward to seeing it again.
