i was born lucky.

my roommate is finding someone else to take over the lease she signed to move in with her boyfriend. she's staying here with me instead. i'm a much better cook than her boyfriend, anyway. and i'm nicer. and cuter. plus he didn't even get her a CARD for her birthday. what a jerk. jerk jerk jerk. i looooooooooove my roommate.

I'm with you on the spending outrageous amounts of money on clothes. I've always wanted to do this and when I get my tax refund, I'm going on a spree. It's not the norm for me, but I've always had a minimal amount of clothes. I'm 'vehicleless' and I live in a small town, so I wasn't able to before the combination of the internet and my recently aquired debit card (staying away from credit.) I 'm a one-man mission to revive the economy!

this really great recipe for african peanut soup:

ingredients
-2 quarts of water
-1.25 cups of smooth natural [unsweetened] peanut butter. i used 1.5.
-1 can [6oz.] of tomato paste
-2 bay leaves
-1 teaspoon of paprika
-3-4 tablespoons of tamari soysauce

Madam - I had a Salt and Pepper Miniature Schnauzer growing up - she was amazing. They're great dogs, and they don't shed, which is a plus. As far as finding a white one, that's quite a task. It's hard to find a breeder that will have one, let alone finding an inexpensive one. Must it be a Schnauzer? And if so, must it be white? If you're flexible on those things, you might have an easier time. If you get one - do yourself (and the poor dog) a favor and don't crop it's ears. They're so much cuter that way.
