Finally we're getting some sunshine up here, in the cold, icy north. However, with a paper due for tomorrow, this may not be the best of days.

At least yesterday was a good day. I've only been a member for a week, and already two persons on this site took their time to wish me a happy birthday. It's nice to be remembered!

Today was another lazy sunday. I like those days...

Stayed in bed for several hours and watched hockey on swedish TV. It's the coolest sport ever IMO.

Looking forward to another interesting week of studying. Learning a new language takes a lot of work. Especially when it involves learning a new alphabet as well.

yeah I love 19th c. russian and french lit. I took rus 101, and would really like to study more along w french at some point - so that I could read in those languages. Ive read most of dostoyevskies novels - Ive read most of the big 19th c russians - Lermontov of course - thats how I recognize the name. I love how there is always a duel in those books. Im friends with anyone whose into russian - so add me if you want to smile

thanks, thats so nice - and it is hard to wear sitting down -but we have to suffer for fashion dont we. yeah, I took russian 101 about a year and a half ago, so I probably know about as much as you do at two months with all Ive forgotten. I never read any turgenyev, because dostoyevsky always made fun of him and didnt like him - but gogol is hillarious - and thanks for adding me
