Been a couple weeks.
I've been trying to think of something to write about, but every time I do, I think of the fact that I don't really want to write a blog for the sake of writing a blog. I don't want to be that guy that writes for the sake of having written something out of the desperation of being noticed. I would much rather write something when I have something that I want to say.
Suffice it to say, the last couple weeks have been pretty non-engaged. Just the same old stuff, teaching my lessons, practicing, rehearsing, chillin' on the weekends. Trying my hardest (and by "hardest" I mean every now and then just a little) to fulfill my New Years Resolution of being healthier and taking better care of myself. But, I wander.
I have now officially played Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I was trying to stay away from them as long as possible, for I was one of those guys that would say that game is lame, you should just spend the same amount of money and go buy a real guitar. However, my song has changed. (sorry) Those games really are pretty sweet. And I did like to hear from behind me while drumming to Blitzkrieg Bop, "Damn! That guy is hella good!" "Well, he is a professional musician." That was my first taste of drums on Rock Band. They made me put it on medium, even for the first time, and I still scored a 95% with something like over 100 note streak.
