over the last few days i've become increasingly affected by a curious malaise. it creeps into my head and limbs at odd times. i find myself staring into space for minutes at a time and thinking of nothing. its a strangely serene and detached feeling of contentedness.
i've no idea from whence it comes, but i like it. it is somewhat like meditation, but without the effort of shutting everything out...and i'm not saying Om and looking at my nose. i don't feel the need to have music going or the TV on or a book open in front of me. to just sit and be is enough at these odd moments.
perhaps its an unconscious effort to assuage the chaos of my waking mind. mayhap the onset of madness, which may be just as equally desirable.
honestly i think it is nothing so grandiose or dramatic. most likely this strange, empty-but-good feeling is the onset of having no real cares or desires at the present moment.
if this keeps up i shall have to make a pilgramage to the desert and re-name myself Muah'Dib.
