just went to see "the last samuri." great movie. i mean great!
there were ppl camping outside the theater in order to be the first in line to see Return of the King. i thought that was so cool i felt like saluting them as i walked by.
these last 2 days have been filled with coolness.
life is good.

not working after what is just about the best fuckin' nite i've had in a long while (not including sex nites) is just about the best thing ever. the Type O Negative show rocked. the 930 club is just about the best place i've ever been in to see a live show. yay for part owner Dave Grohl. i don't think i even bumped into anyone once. the bar was right behind me, the men's room right to the side, and the stage right in front. that second floor is great. ToN put on a great show.
anyway, after ToN was done and Cradle of Filth was playing, i head to the bah to get another Bud (because watching CoF made me want to pounce on the bar and buy enourmous rounds of drinks) when lo and behold, there's Johnny Kelley (ToN drummer and all around cool guy) doing tequila shots with some fans. i walked up, ordered a Bud, he turned around, saw me, then i stuck my hand out and told him "what a great show." he said "thanks man." i bought him a corona. we toasted each other, slammed a tequila shot, then i walked away. it was just about the coolest thing ever.
there were a lot of grrls there who would probably make some slammin' SuicideGrrls.
