the incessant humping going on in the apartment next to me is really, really driving me to distraction.
most of the time, its not all that bad and the girl really makes some good girl-having-orgasms sounds. but hell, i guess sundays are their humping days.
couple that (pun not intended, again) with the old building in which i live in Old Town Alexandria and you'll see that my walls are echoing with somebody else's sweet lovin'. not a very good mood bringer-upper.
anyway, i'm in a Portishead mood today so i've some steady beats and long. low baselines and scratching samples accompanying the shagging next door so it all kind of blends in.
as if i didn't think about it enough already.
hmm. oh yeah, headed to New Jersey for the week for work. (sorry that is old info if you read my earlier entry). i'm really new to the site but i'm already pretty hooked (i do that) and i'm kinda bummed i won't be able to log on for the week.
thanks to Ivy for leaving a note on my journal. didn't do much today so that was the highlight of it.

Unfortunately, she came across like a dick to you, which sucks because she's definately worth getting know as a friend.
On tour this summer we played TX (Beaumont and Austin) and I have to say the people their were possibly the friendliest folks I've met in the country, especially in Beaumont. On the downside, the entire state looks like every episode of COPS was shot there.
