I'm back!!!

Kerry had to go to Texas this week for training so I've been pining all week. But he will be home tomorrow and we will have all weekend together! Unfortunately we are both sick so this should be fun.

I totally forgot that Tuesday was my birthday until I got on Facebook and saw all the wall posts. And special thanks to Remi for the sweet text message too! In order to celebrate I went and got pizza, wings, loaded potato skins, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, and vanilla ice cream and just pigged out. It was heavenly.

I also rented a bunch of random movies that night. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found.

-Everything Must Go was an alright movie. I'm beginning to wonder about the people who classify these movies though. This one was pegged as a comedy, but I think it fell more into the drama category.

-The Art of Getting By was better but once again more drama than comedy.

-Midnight in Paris was spectacular!! I absolutely fell in love with Hemingway! The music, the story, the cast, all of it was simply superb.

-The Beaver I went into with extremely low expectations. And I ended extremely surprised. It was darkly funny and extremely moving. Probably the best movie I watched that night.

-Win Win was everything I expected it to be. It was funny at times and sad at others. But it was really good.

Found out that I'm unconsciously losing weight. I'm not a happy camper. Every time I buy a pair of jeans they don't fit 5 days later. Hopefully my metabolism will slow back down again soon.

And Connor tried to clean a freckle off the bottom of my foot with a baby wipe the other day. I was crying I was laughing to hard. He was determined to get it off despite the fact that it has been there my whole life. I dunno what he thought I had on my foot but it wasn't staying. I had to stop him when he started scratching at it with his fingernails, because it hurt and tickled at the same time.

Other than that things have been rather quiet. I'm going to my mom's tomorrow to do the official birthday dinner with my family.

Hopefully whatever this is that's got me sick will go away soon. Luckily my vitamin c are fruity chewables so life isn't too bad.
