I HAVE SOME INCREDIBLY AWESOME NEWS!!!!

But more on that in a minute.

Saturday turned into a 3 ring circus of drama. Imagine like Jerry Springer meets Days of Our Lives. I spent most of the day cleaning since nothing started until that afternoon. It was all quiet and peaceful because my sister in law was across the road getting stuff ready to go for my niece's birthday party. I decided that since it started at 2 I'd go for an hour and then go to my friend's house warming party. 2 came and went and no one left. 2:30 came and went and still nothing. So at 2:45 I put my niece's present in front of my sister in law's bedroom door and got ready to leave. As I was walking out my sister in law was walking in, so I told her where the present was. She asked me if I was going to the birthday party and I told her that I had planned to but if I went now I'd be late for another engagement. She didn't like that at all. I left anyway.

I get to the house warming party and the first thing I'm asked is "What is that in your nose?!?". I replied with "A hoop. ". "Does it hurt?" "No." "It looks like it does." Lol. Good times. It actually was a lot of fun. I got to sit around and eat and just relax. It was great. While I was there my husband calls me to let me know he's off of work. I warned him that I pissed off his sister just in case. It's not fair to send him in like that unprepared. Then he tells me that he knows because she called him at work wanting to know why Connor wasn't going to the birthday party. He told her that I had another engagement with a friend that I've known since 3rd grade and hadn't seen in a couple of years. She gets all pissed off and told him that my niece's birthday was more important than any of my friends. He asks her why the party didn't start on time. She said that she changed the time to 4. But she didn't bother to tell me. So how was I supposed to know? So he says that he'll swing by when he gets off work. She responds with "I don't give a shit if you 2 come. I just wanted Connor there." Unfortunately she doesn't seem to realize that this is a package deal and to get him you also have to get us. So she's been annoyed with me for the past 4 days.

Then to top it all off I tell her that she needs to clear out the bookshelf I left in her room so I can get it out. She didn't like that either. But I need it. All of my books are packed up and I have somewhere to put a bookshelf now so I want it back.

Anywho....that's not why I posted this blog. (Even though it was nice to get that off of my chest.) I came to tell everyone....I HAVE SET A DATE TO SHOOT MY FIRST SET!!! I'm so excited! I'm flying out to Colorado in October to shoot with the incredible Hildreth! I cannot wait!! And he is such a sweetheart. We spent all day yesterday talking about it. It's a long time to wait (and I suck at being patient) but it's going to be worth it. YAY! *happy dance*

Sorry you guys had to wade through the crap to get to the good news! But that's why I love each and every one of you! Hope things are going great for everyone!
