Seven days of rehearsal makes one weak.
For the past week I've had rehearsals from 9 to 5 for the children's show I'm in. Then in the evenings I've had to design and run lights for another show in Asheville. I finally had a day off from rehearsals or lighting design and what do I do?
That's right I went to the theater. I saw an amazing production of Marisol by Jose Rivera. It's a modern fable in which the guardian angels of earth wage war against a senile old god and leave the humans they were protecting to fend for themselves. Quite a show to see on a Sunday.
I finally got some laundry done too.
Tomorrow it begins all over again. I have to be up by 6:45 to drive to Waynesville and perform the show out there at 9. Then we'll have to do workshops with the kids in the afternoon. In the evening I head into another theater for another show I designed the lighting for. Repeat x5.
