So it was an incredible weekend. The weather was glorious, the show broke all kinds of records, and I even got onstage a few times.
We had two "various" people out on Friday so I stepped in as a mariner and some other various characters. The first scene is the ship out in the storm. In my production we hurl buckets of water at the mariners on from the side of the stage. They usually get pretty wet. Of course Friday my actors got their revenge. They totally soaked me from head to foot. It was fun though. The show went very well considering this was the first night my new Prospero and Miranda played the parts. Also at intermission someone put a $100 bill in the donations. It was real cool.
Saturday the actor who plays Adrian (part of the King's company) called in with horrible gastro-intestinal problems so I had to step into that part. Luckily he didn't have too many lines, and by this time I'm pretty familiar with the play, so I did it off-book. I don't think anyone knew the difference.
Luckily Sunday night we had a full cast. Sunday was our biggest show yet. Friday and Saturday were both well over 200 people. Sunday we counted somewhere around 340 people. It set a new record for the biggest attendance for a single show. It also set a record for donations over $680. I was real proud. Ursula (who is incredibly awesome BTW) was there. We went out after the show and talked theater amongst other things. It constantly amazes me how cool most of the people you meet on SG are.
Anyway next weekend all we need are 30 people to beak the all-time total attendance record. So here is how you can help. Come see my show.

I'm definitely pulling for France. No doubt.

You should have stayed later if you wanted to see all the patriotism!
