"I'm Rick James bitch."

Today, was a good day.

My alarm had gone off. But I had not gotten up yet. My boss calls to tell me I get the day off. Fucking hell yeah. Went back to sleep. Got a total of 14 hours sleep.

Had a breakfast of poptarts. Watched some good war movies. Took a nap. Yeah, a nap. Its my day off.

After the nap. More war TV. Dinner. Then I needed some dougnuts. So, off to Dunkin Donuts.

Wore my Chuck Taylors to get the doughnuts. These kids had to know where I got them. That was cool.

Got some pasta sauce and rented videos on the way home. The rain started.

I love the rain. Especially when it lands on the dirt. Such an earthy smell.

The rain reminded me of the time, I was on my way to a club or something back in San Diego. Stopped at the parking lot in Mision Beach, near the roller coaster. It was late at night and dark. But the parking lot was well illuminated. And a heavy rain storm was coming in off of the Pacific. I sat in the CRX and listened to the rain pound the roof of the car. Watched the drops fall on the puddles. That was one moment of contentment that I will remember a long time.
