I think when times are challenging...that's just the universe asking you to confirm your resolve.

Author Napoleon Hill, in his book Think and Grow Rich, writes, "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit."

I read several of his books when I started my business. They are helpful with quantifying what your goals are and when you plan to achieve them. That's an over simplification. Interestingly, his books also contain consistent messages about re-programming your thinking to be more success oriented.

It's easy to accept our birth cast status and values and desire no more. I'm neurotic about self-improvement so Napoleon Hill's writing has helped me grow out of my "middle class mentality".
