In a completely predictable vote today, the Senate cut pensions and benefits to military veterans. Equally predictable, when the GOP tried to reinstate full benefits for veterans and take the money from illegal immigrants, the Democrats blocked the vote.
Stay classy, Democrats.
I am back in Dallas, wearing shorts and a t shirt. It is about 82 degrees here. This is why people hate Texas.
The office Christmas party was on Friday, and Vi had her party on Saturday. Aisha was none too happy about going, but I had informed Vi of the situation. So we arrived late, ate our food, and excused ourselves. Vi showed us to her door, and said, very softly, "I completely understand. Go scratch her itch."
Aisha did most of the scratching.
I left on Monday, a few hours after I kissed Aisha goodbye for a very long time.
My go to girl in Dallas, Rachel, is in South Carolina with her ex husband and two daughters. Hanukkah came early this year, so she decided to go. Also, she has an assistant now (finally), so she can take an extended break. We have made plans to go on a hunting party after the new year. Aisha knows all about Rachel, and while she dislikes Rachel personally, she understands and approves. I do not approve of the fact that, while Aisha has a two week break before she has to travel again, she will hole up with Courtney in a hotel. I am fine with it, but Aisha would never think to ask my permission.
I am going to spend a few nights in the Gentleman's Club I used to moonlight at. I have a friend who dances there, and she has emailed me to tell me she has had a poor month when she really needed a good month, so she needs me to buy some table dances. I am not going to buy VIP access, but she will easily get me in to the VIP area.
Another reason people hate Texas. Such a vibrant sex industry.
