Retired center Matt Birk dd not attend the White House. It is a nice honor, but it is not as if you cannot pass.
Birk passed because he claimed that Obama said "God bless Planned Parenthood.:
This is not quite true. Obama said "Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you. God bless America." Close enough. Birk is as pro life as Obama is pro choice. This is a debatable issue, and it is not my point.
I just applaud Birk for going with his conscience, just as we all should go with our conscience, and stand up for our beliefs. Even if you are like me and have lost your conscience.
