Tomorrow I'm leaving for London and Prague. This Sunday I'm running in the Prague Marathon. 26 miles. Must finish. Then, ice cream.

After that I'm flying home to Alabama and then to Mexico. From there I'm sailing back on my mom's friends' big ol' sailboat, and doing lots of diving along the way. It's a hard life, I tell you.

Then I'm gonna drive back...

Happy
I ran 6 miles yesterday and today is really beautiful and I'm working on the new Rainer Maria website. I heart the heat!

Crappy
A friend sent me a link to the Nicolas Berg beheading video. Don't watch it. Ugh, I muted the sound and closed the window before anything happened. And I still feel sick.

I refuse to watch that video.. not because I don't have the stomach for it, but because the terrorists who made the video want me to watch it. They made the video so that I would watch it. So fuck them, I'm not gonna watch it. Damnit.

Today I ran 4 miles at the gym, and while I was there I saw a girl who looked so much like Aspen that I actually had to ask her what her name was, cuz I thought it would be too weird if she went to the same gym as me. Turns out it wasn't her.

Then I went to the Jackie Farry Fuck Cancer...

J. Mascis was there?!?!?!??! I wish I had known, I totally would have gone. Dinosaur Jr. was one of my favorite bands when I was in high school. And David Cross rocks. He's around quite a bit these days, especially at Pianos, apparently.

(I been neglecting my SG diary a bit lately, so I'm cross-posting this from my other diary.)

One of the Boys

Today I went walking around my neighborhood. I bought an Ali book and I ran into my friend H.R. on the street. Then I was gonna head home, but I decided to go to the gym and do some weights, even though today...

OMG I HAVE GROUP MANIA! MAKE IT STOP!

I didn't really pay much attention to the groups or boards when I first joined SG. Mostly I updated my journal, read my friendses journals, and of course, spent some quality time lookin at all the lovely ladies.

But I kept hearing about SGNY. All my friends are in SGNY. So I applied, basically. I went out...

Hey what's this? Army points? 100 of em? How'd that happen? Did someone at SG hear about the rockin cab-ride makeout session I had last nite?

SG is all-knowing, all-seeing! Kinda scary. But hot!

I was trying to figure that out too. But as Legionnaire said it's probably from you buying someone a subscription. I am guessing that is how I got mine.

Welcome to SGNY! I totally would have testimonialized, but I only saw the thread this morning. Really! You have to believe me!

Last night me and mariacherry went to Pete's Candy Store and set the place on fire. LITERALLY. And then I LITERALLY shit my pants. Not really, just LITERALLY.

We saw my friend Yalan play, and then this band called Picastro that I really liked. Then this woman Scout Niblett played. She did a few songs with just her singing and playing guitar through an amp...

I just watched the saddest movie. My Life Without Me. I actually cried at the end. Imagine that, a grown man. Wait, am I grown?

Well, it was either that or Bring It On Again. I probly woulda cried even more at the end of that, so I think I made the right choice. Well, actually I had some help.

wuvmonki:
The only reason I saw Bring It On was belong it was part of a double feature at the drive in I went to. They were sneaky about telling you what the second feature was.

As for seeing Bring It On Again I think I would have to gouge my eyes out.

Brunch was at Stingy Lulu's at St. Mark's & A on Sunday. Always on Sunday.

Yay, welcome home.
A couple of weeks ago I came home and Jonathan was playing some music and I was all 'who is this? I know this song and I like this band...' and it was totally you. One day soon we will come see you play.
Giving Ace a breather for the time being. We'll have to catch up soon.
legionnaire:
How was the tour? Welcome back! I think Ace is temporarily out for the time being. But I'm sure we'll see each other soon enough.
