My husband sucks.
He's in Texas right now doing some military fire-fighter training stuff and he calls me last night and tells me I need to send his dress blues. I tell him no problem and ask him where they are. He says that they're hanging in the closet, but I also need to find his shoes, his hat, his tie, his ribbons that he hasn't put on yet and his shoe polish; oh yeah, and that he doesn't know where any of this stuff is. We are not the most organized people. We keep our house clean but our drawers and closets are all cluttered and we have a lot of useless junk. I spend most of today looking through closets and piecing his uniform together (his shoes were in the trunk of our car ). When I get all of his stuff together I package it up and head for the post office. I have to stop at an ATM to get some cash out first, because only his picture is on our debit card. Of course there is a long line at the post office when we get there and my two year old, being two, decides he's tired of waiting in line and throws a fit while I'm holding this huge box. Finally, we get to the counter and I need to send it overnight and it turns out I need a special label and tape to do this, so I have to make a new label ( I've never sent anything Express before). When I get home there's a message waiting for me. It's my husband saying nevermind, he doesn't need his blues after all.
Yeah, so he pretty much sucks. I totally hate him right now. But I love him.

I'm pretty sure we're going to go see Slayer at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach on February 22. We're going to wait till next payday to get the tickets, but I can't wait. Yayyyyy!
