it was actually pretty tame ...we made dinner, talked for a few hours and then went off to our soccer game (we're all on the same team ...my pal, too). Now, that part was awkward. i do agree with you that grace and laughter go a long way toward lightening the load of age and changes in the body... but there are some days i look in the mirror expecting to see that hawt 23-year-old body and young face (neither of which i appreciated at the time. youth is soooo foolish...) and am disgusted by what i do see. then i log in here and am assaulted by skinny youth and beauty... grrrrrr...
