Feeling better now!

As I told you a few days ago - cute hair (or lack of) smile
hotpockets:
Yeah, I'll be there Friday. I'll be Dungeon Monitoring for a couple hours that night, and hopefully have some fun time too at the party.

I'm excited!! But yeah, hopefully I'm better by then!

I loved it too. I was driving home from the Stereolab show on Wednesday night and coming up the Sylvan Hill was otherworldly.

Some days you feel like a nut....That's the theory, anyway.

I really like this song-from Blur-Boys and Girls-the chorus goes-
Girls who are boys
Who like boys to be girls
Who do boys like theyre girls
Who do girls like theyre boys
Always should be someone you really love

I have to frame a small foundation and mix and pour cement this weekend, I've never...

You could get stuck in cement. That would be pretty interesting though--definitely a story you could tell people.

bankerboy:
I like that song, and Blur in general. You hear some of Blur when you listen to Gorillaz...Damon Albarn and all.

So much going on in my life right now I haven't had much time for SG or the wonderful friends whom I've met here. I feel like an ass, but I haven't read anyones journal in a long time.
I took a fake sick day off from work today so I can move some dirt and change the oil in my bug and get caught...

***update at bottom***

The people of every nation are being deluded by there rulers, who say to
them, "You, who are governed by us, are all in danger of being conquered
by other nations; we are watching over your welfare and safety, and
consequently we demand of you annually some millions of rubles-the fruit
of your labor-to be used by us in the acquisition of...

The presidant thinks we need to spend money on developing alternative energy sources so we won't be so reliant on foreign oil.

$281 million for developing cleaner coal-burning power plants. An extra $54 million would be spent on an experimental plant that would convert coal into a gas and store its carbon dioxide emissions underground to combat global warming.
-- $148 million for improving solar...

it's a gov't job so the pay's not bad really. thanks for the link, i'll check it out.
cybele:
Is that a man or a monkey?

Yes, the Prez does indeed have his head hopelessly and irretrievably stuck up his own hopelessly un-presidential ass.

I love all this rain!!! NOT
I spent many hours this last year diging a really big hole under my house, but I hadn't been down there in months. I thought I would go check on it last weekend and it is now flooded, about 4 feet of water. I've had the pump going all day yesterday and it's back on today, hopefully it will...

What is this? Stir of Echoes II??? Is Kevin Bacon under all that water????

That pic with the silver car looks like my street after the snow melts too quickly. No one on the street wants to take the initiative to unclog the sewer drain so my street becomes a lake. Hell, I don't own this building. I'm not wading my ass out there!

ps: I think I see Jimmy Hoffa's leg sticking out of the first picture tongue

It's so insanely rainy, I agree. smile I make my pendants in a kiln.

It's a lot of fun! biggrin
