attention all ladies:

now that i have your attention, let me direct you to the newest single guy in bay view. that's right; me.

it was just time to downgrade our status to friends, and i know how that is such a cliche' to say "just friends" but that's what the only option really was at this point. i'm happy, she's happy, nobody got hurt this time & respect was never lost.

my car is gone, so i'm on foot and by bus these days. i'm actually quite enjoying it. i can open up my head and really get some thinking done when i'm trudging through cement-like slush-snow mixture. i know i'll be whining about not having a car in coming weeks, so revel in my enjoyment of the pedestrian lifestyle while it lasts.

so this journal entry could've been different. instead of the no woman, no car blues, i'm in a happy place surrounded by burning sticks of nag champa and the delicate crooning of kris kristopherson.

a shout out to esquire & Shiva8 who i had the pleasure of chilling with on thursday night. we should do that more, eh??
