yesterday was the madison block party. it's been 10 years since i lived in a college town, so it was weird to be in such a frat-dweeb jocko environment again. i don't fit in to that scene at all, but still, walking around the street with open beers was pretty cool.
props to jppap83 for hosting the milwaukee crew at his place. we hit bennet's for some karaoke excitement. i sang tom jones - what's new pussycat and the late middle-aged women in the audience got soaking wet in the unders. then "oops" a britney spears wannabe got me up there to do the boy parts for the grease medley (best part - when "oops" pressed her boobs into me at the end of summer nights!
. then the crowd learned a lesson on 80's funk with the all to easily forgotten cameo - word up. of course, much rum & coke was consumed - i'm pantsonfire, that's what i do! 
all in all, it was a fun night. i would've liked to see more of the madison folks, but with less than a week of planning, what do you expect?
