May is gone and I don't think I had time to take a shit the entire month! That's just a figure of speech; I am actually quite regular, almost overly regular in fact. The X-ine visit has been over for more than a week. We went down to Chicago for the last couple nights and had a blast there. The Tigers beat the White Sox, and I got completely sauced and sang victory songs on the red line train back to the hotel. We drank a fuckload of $6 beers ($7 Stoli/tonics for her). This is the down side to my Chi-town experience. Does anyone know where to find CHEAP BEER in the chicago area?
Fast forward to last weekend in Elgin, IL. Eating a meal on the company with Nick & John at the Bennigans in suburban Schaumburg, I ask meekly the vacant-looking waitress about drink specials, and bang - there are $1.50 pints of Beck's Dark. Good news! I notice a girl across the bar who had just arrived with a friend, and we made eye contact. I couldn't stop looking over there, and every time I did, there she was looking at me. Eventually we are all sharing a table and last call has rang out across the bar, and to the back of my company van we go, to smoke pot like 10th grade style. This girl Marla, was she a knockout or what? I haven't met a girl that funny in a long time, and I was definately impressed. Too bad she lives in St. Joe, Michigan and I am unlikely to see her ever again.
Also, at the Landmark last Tuesday, I was standing around, MYOB style, and was approached by a couple dart playing girls about going to their 80's breakdancing party. I'm pretty stoked about it, it looks like the planets are aligning themselves in my favor because their breakdancing party is on the weekend that I am actually IN TOWN! So I get to go, but now the quandary is to find 80's garb for the party (I was on ritalin for the entire decade and have no memory of anything), and to find a piece of cardbord big enough for my fat ass to bust a move on.
Rockabily night tonight at the "?" bar up in Walkers Point. The tender is a fellow SG member, so if any of you Milwaukee area SG members want to see me turn recreational drinking into a full time job, come down some Monday.
